The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has registered a First Information Report (FIR) on allegations of financial gain of Rs 2,000 crore for allegedly altering answer books. 1 million in the Central Superior Services (CSS) 2022 examination.
The document states that FIA's Anti-Corruption Circle Islamabad has registered an FIR against an official of the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC), two candidates and one other person who were involved in the entire process. There are allegations of facilitation while the role of former Deputy Director FPSC. Mumtaz Hussain Shaukat and others will be expelled during the investigation.
Inquiry No. 322/2023 initiated on the complaint of Ansar Hayat Gonsdal, Director General (Administration), FPSC, Islamabad revealed that the accused Nadeem Muhammad Khan, Assistant BS-16 Secretary of FPSC Islamabad. Deployed in the branch, managed to change the answer sheets. 02 candidates participated in CSS exam 2022.
The fact was observed during the interview stage that some candidates scored exceptional marks in the written section of the CSS exam 2022 but could not perform well.
On suspicion, an internal fact-finding inquiry was also conducted by the committee in which Syed Ahmed Babar Zaidi DO Secrecy FPSC, Zaheer Parvez Khan Member FPSC and Akbar Hussain Durrani Member FPSC were included in the internal inquiry. Meanwhile, the accused Nadeem Muhammad Khan was found guilty of changing the answer. Candidates Books All Sher, Roll No. 22498 and Hilar Ahmad, Roll No. 23509.
During the inquiry the answer books of all the candidates were checked and the answer books of two candidates i.e. Ali Sher Roll No. 22498 and Halar Ahmed Roll No. 23509 were found to be altered from the original which were tried to be changed by the candidates. Examination Hall
The answer books of the examination halls were exchanged by the accused Nadeem Muhammad Khan assistant posted in the Secrecy Branch with the active connivance of one Muhammad Ibrahim for a profit of Rs.10 lakh.
The serial numbers of all twenty-four answer books are different from those recorded on attendance in the examination halls. Twenty-two answer books used by the candidates have not been released by the examination cell to any hall/centre in CSS 2022.
