The Supreme Court has ordered the immediate arrest of the accused involved in the attack on the temple in Rahim Yar Khan. Supreme Court asked the IG and Chief Secretary Punjab to submit a preliminary report of the action against the accused within a week. The Supreme Court also ordered to recover the costs of the temple's repair and restoration from the accused. The Supreme Court has directed to establish a village committee for establishing peace in the affected area and peace committees for religious harmony in Punjab to ensure that such incidents do not happen in the future. On Friday, a two-member bench headed by Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed heard the suo motu case on the attack on the temple in Rahim Yar Khan. Chief Secretary and IG Punjab appeared before the court. During the hearing, Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed inquired what the administration and police were doing when the temple was attacked. During the hearing, IG Punjab Inam Ghani told the court that Assistant Commissioner (AC) and Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) were present on the spot, the administration's priority was to protect 70 Hindu houses around the temple, terrorism in the case. Provisions have been made. Meanwhile, Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed remarked that this whole incident happened because of an 8-year-old child, this incident brought Pakistan into disrepute all over the world, the police did nothing but watch the spectacle. During the hearing, Justice Qazi Amin inquired whether any arrest was made. On which IG Punjab told the court that no arrests have been made yet, the said affected area is a mosque, imam bargah and temple are next to each other, the situation in the affected area was ideal before there was no unrest. During the hearing, Additional Attorney General Sohail Mehmood told the court that Prime Minister Imran Khan has also taken notice of the matter. During the hearing, Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed remarked that it has been three days since the incident and not a single person has been caught. Seeing the regret of the police on the incident, it seems that there is no enthusiasm in the police.
